“I took the SQE1 exams in January and just last week, I received the unfortunate news of my failure. Given that my training contract was supposed to start in less than two years, I was immediately concerned about the impact this would have on my career. After discussing the matter with the firm’s graduate recruitment and HR departments, I was informed that my offer for the training contract has been withdrawn. At this moment, I’m at a loss about what steps to take next and am curious if others have faced similar challenges. I am eager to learn how other firms handle situations where prospective trainees do not pass the SQE.”
