Which path to take?
In the most recent edition of our Career Conundrums series, a recent high school graduate is facing a dilemma between embarking on a solicitor apprenticeship and following the more conventional university path.
“Hello Dynamic Export. I completed my A-Levels last summer and have been staying at home while working at my local pub. I’ve been contemplating a career as a solicitor for some time now, and I feel prepared to take the next step. The only decision I’m grappling with is whether to pursue a solicitor apprenticeship (there are a few firms offering them in my vicinity) or to attend university. I would love to hear the opinions of your readers. I recognize the advantages and disadvantages of both paths, which makes it quite challenging for me to choose.”
