About Arts Thread
As a premier global digital platform, Arts Thread serves as a vital bridge connecting emerging artists and designers with opportunities. The platform collaborates with over 1,000 academic institutions across 140 countries and has forged partnerships with prominent brands, organizations, and media to globally propel the careers of the next creative generation.
The Global Creative Graduate Showcase
This year marks the 5th anniversary of the showcase, which has attracted entries from over 5,000 students graduating this academic year. Over its history, the showcase has become the only global online exhibition for graduating artists and designers, helping hundreds to secure jobs or start their own brands. Winners have the privilege of displaying their work on both Arts Thread and Google Arts & Culture platforms.
Each winner is awarded a one-year free subscription to the Arts Thread Foundry, an innovative project that supports creators in safeguarding their intellectual property, conducting trade, and monetizing their creativity through blockchain technology in an efficient and transparent manner.

Gosha Maslovskis – Hiding in Plain Type (Typography)
“Microplastics are now pervasive in our environment, found even in our food and air, with the average person consuming nearly 250 grams unknowingly each year. Hiding in Plain Type, a campaign led by typography, employs a Google variable typeface and poetic expressions to spotlight the ubiquity of microplastics and promote awareness.”

Christopher Bellamy – Lucid Life (Material Innovation)
“Drawing inspiration from the symbiotic relationships in coral ecosystems, this innovative material integrates bioluminescent micro-algae that respond to touch with light and require only sunlight to thrive. This project, in collaboration with Polynesian artisans, blends traditional knowledge with modern science to create artifacts that bridge nature, culture, and biotechnological innovation.”
Fine Art, Photography, Craft, and Jewelry
Jingyao Wang – Lost in dreamland (Jewelry)
“Lost in Dreamland draws inspiration from the nostalgic funfair memories of Julia Wang’s childhood, transforming these into glamorous wearable art. This jewelry collection encourages adults to rediscover their childhood imaginations and dreams through interactive elements, evoking a sense of wonder and innocence.”
