Etihad Airways will start flying nonstop daily from Perth to Abu Dhabi, from July 15 this year.
This is the first nonstop service between two cities.
The route will be serviced with an Airbus A330-200 aircraft fitted with two sections: Pearl Business Class and Coral Economy Class.
Perth is Etihad’s fourth Australia destination as the airline already flies to Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.
With the Perth route, it brings Etihad’s total number of flights between Abu Dhabi and Australia to 35, including flights operated by Virgin Australia.
