Australia and Malaysia have recently negotiated a new Free Trade Agreement, which is expected to come into force in 2013 after ratification by both countries.

During the recent November 2011 APEC meeting in Hawaii, one of the key announcements was the agreement by nine of the members on the broad outlines of a Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement between their countries.

Australia has now signed on to six Free Trade Agreements but the original one with New Zealand remains the most comprehensive. Make sure you have your say.
