Understanding and managing freight and logistics costs are critical to enhancing competitiveness in global markets and increasing your profitability.

The Export Council of Australia (ECA) is conducting a course next month in Sydney and Melbourne to help exporters understand the risks involved and how to overcome them.

  • Trade terminology explained
  • Common freight costs
  • Choosing the right freight forwarder
  • Marine insurance for air and sea cargo
  • The supply chain as a Unique Value Proposition (UVP)

What in involved:

The course will provide vital information and will also provide the opportunity for companies to bring along their own quotes, for assessment by an international freight expert. 

Who should attend? 

This course is practical and interactive. It is designed specifically for those managing the import and export process, as well as business owners. 

All participants will receive: 

  • Booklet with exercises and template 
  • Certificate of completion 

All ECA workshops and courses can be undertaken as stand-alone units, or accredited as part of an Advanced Diploma in International Business with the Charles Sturt University Centre for Customs and Excise Studies.
