The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) will again carry the flag for the Australian packaging industry at the Foodtech Packtech (FTPT) exhibition this month.

New Zealand’s biennial Food & Beverage Manufacturing, Packaging & Processing Technology trade event, Foodtech Packtech (FTPT), is on track to be the biggest in over a decade.

Nearly 200 exhibiting companies will be showcasing the latest technologies, products and services.

Held at the ASB Showgrounds, Auckland from October 11-13, the event covers all facets of food and packaging industry capability.

This is the fifth time the AIP has exhibited at FoodTech PackTech in New Zealand.

Through this major trade show the AIP gets an opportunity to meet with existing and potential members and also raise the profile of its education and training programs in the region.

AIP Seminar

The AIP is at the forefront of packaging training and education in Australasia. The association helps to shape the careers of generations of packaging professionals – from packaging technologists to international packaging business leaders along with a host of people in associated disciplines – sales and marketing, purchasing, production and environment.

The AIP will host a seminar on packaging trends on October 12 as a part of the NZIFST seminars and conduct a half-day training course on Accessible Packaging design on the same day. ASB packaging

The Foodtech Packtech 2016 theme of Adding Value to NZ’s Food Chain will be dominant over the three days through live product demonstrations, special features and a very full schedule of free industry lead education and learning seminars.

The event seminars are organised in partnership with the New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology, bringing together leading experts and professionals to share their knowledge, skills and ideas that are critical to the sustainability and growth of the vibrant F&B industry.

Attendees can visit the AIP on Stand 2037.
