G&M Cosmetics, an Australian manufacturer of natural and affordable skincare products, continues its expansion into the lucrative Asian market.
The company has announced plans to export its premium range into Malaysia – a country with a population of more than 30 million and a rapidly growing middle and upper class.
In recent years the company has exported to Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand – and now into Malaysia.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicts a 4.8% GDP Growth Forecast for Malaysia, making it one of Asia’s fastest growing economies.
“We have always had a high demand and interest in South East Asia and believed that now is the right time to enter the Malaysian market,” said Global Marketing & Sales Manager Mr Peter Bosevski.
Sophisticated market
“The Malaysian market is a very sophisticated market where discretionary spending on imported skincare, and especially Australian made skincare, is growing”.
G&M Cosmetics will offer its organic Australian Creams MKII premium range – sophisticated skincare products with Paraben and Mineral Oil Free.
Through a Malaysian business partner, G&M Cosmetics will supply selected major beauty chains including SaSa, which has more than 70 locations.
Sydney-based G&M Australian Cosmetics has been manufacturing and supplying the Australian market for the past 22 years.
In the past decade the company has seen a dramatic rise in exports, especially into Asia.
