G&M Cosmetics an Australian manufacturer of skincare products has recently expanded its operations and exports to the booming Vietnam retail market.

Over the last few years the company has exported to markets in Asia like Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

“We have always had a high demand and interest in South East Asia and believed that now is the right time to enter the Vietnam market,” said Global Marketing & Sales Manager Peter Bosevski. “With a population of over 90 million and a growing middle and upper class, Vietnam is an ideal export market.”

Mr Bosevski said the Vietnam market would also give the company access to the wider growing South East Asia markets of Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar, where discretionary spending on imported skincare, and especially Australian made skincare, is growing.

G&M Cosmetics has entered this lucrative market with its more premium range of brands of Native Australian and Australian Creams MKII.

“We are offering a more sophisticated skincare product which is both Paraben and Mineral Oil Free, representing a more natural and organic range,” Mr Bosevski said.

Brand ambassador

Together with their local Vietnam business partner G&M Cosmetics now supplies the likes of AEON Supermarkets, retail outlets in Tan Son Nhat HCM Airport, and various other cosmetic chains.

To coincide with the launch of the Vietnam market G&M has secured the Miss Globe 2017 Winner Khonh Ngan as the G&M Cosmetics brand ambassador to help strengthen the brands’ presence in the local market and other Asian audiences.

Also, G&M has opened a showroom and sales office in Ho Chi Min City, with plans in the pipeline to open up to five G&M branded retail outlets in Vietnam.

G&M Australian Cosmetics based in Sydney has been proudly manufacturing and supplying the Australian market for the last 22 years.

In the last decade the company has seen a dramatic rise in exports – especially into the Asian market.

“With years of experience and manufacturing capabilities, G&M has incorporated this knowledge to give consumers the very best of high quality Australian ingredients with a highly accessible skincare range,” said Mr Bosevski.
