Coface, a global leader in credit insurance and risk management, has announced three key appointments in Australia and Singapore.
Graham Crozier, the chief of Coface Australia, has been appointed Country Manager of Coface Singapore, effective from April this year.
Chris Little, who has worked with Coface Australia since 2007, has been appointed Country Manager of Coface Australia, replacing Mr Crozier.
Jemma Boyle who joined Coface in 2012 in commercial administration, has been promoted to the position of Commercial Head of Coface Australia, reporting to Mr Little in his new role.
Mr Crozier will be based in Singapore, reporting directly to Bhupesh Gupta, CEO of Coface in Asia Pacific.
Strong track record
He has 34 years’ experience in Trade Credit Insurance as an insurer and a broker, with a deep and broad base of experience in the industry and a strong track record.
He began his career in the UK in 1985, including three years in the London market before moving to Australia in 1989.
In 1999, Mr Crozier was part of the team which launched Coface into Australia via the then underwriting agency model.
He was appointed to manage the launch of the Trade Credit Division of Marsh in Australia in 2001, which he led until 2008 when he formed his own Trade Credit Insurance broking business. He subsequently joined Coface as Country Manager in January 2016.
Mr Crozier brings a wealth of expertise and experience to Coface Singapore.
The company aims to strengthen its objectives of growth in the Singapore market and to strengthen its position as a regional facilitator of trade in South East Asia.
Best practice in customer service
Mr Crozier’s successor, Mr Little has extensive working experience with Coface Australia, starting as a Risk Underwriter in 2007.
Two years later he was promoted to Office Manager – Coface Melbourne.
Most recently he held “acting” roles in Coface Japan for six months as Commercial Head and then as Country Manager. His work helped to promote best practice in customer service and client and broker relationship, and to roll out new products.
Mr Little holds a Masters in International Business in Trade/Finance from Monash University.
Ms Boyle, who replaces Mr Little as Commercial Head of Coface Australia, has extensive knowledge and experience in the Commercial function. Her career in the insurance industry started in 2003 with involvement across various key functions such as client service, claims, administration and sales. After joining Coface Australia in 2012, she was promoted the following year to Account Executive. In 2017 she was appointed to Senior Account Manager.
More recently, Ms Boyle took over the role as acting Commercial Head of Coface Australia following Mr Little’s secondment to Japan.
Established 70 years ago, Coface supports 50,000 clients worldwide and has a registered turnover of €1.4 billion ($A2.24 billion).
In 2017, Coface employed more than 4000 people in 100 countries.
