Austrade will launch a mission to the USA for technology businesses interested in servicing the environmental and utilities industries. The ‘Environment, Technology and Entrepreneurship’ mission to software giant Microsoft, is a program designed to showcase technology solutions and introduce Australian firms to the US market. Brett Spencer, CEO of the Stargate Group, participated in the previous mission and said it provided him with insights and contacts that "have changed the course of our business". "We are generating business opportunities we never imagined possible with a myriad of companies utilising our services," he said. "We are also on Microsoft’s radar because of the business we generated using their products." The program also allows the participants to meet with key industry leaders, identify potential partners, and acquire a better understanding of the US technology market.
