Participate in research into women exporting
Women in Global Business (WIGB) are joining forces with the University of Melbourne in a research project aimed to determine what motivates and shapes Australian businesswomen’s international engagement. The project will explore the overall experiences of Australian businesswomen in the international arena and will be conducted by Sarah Gundlach, an Honours student supervised by Dr. André Sammartino from the Department of Management and Marketing at the University of Melbourne. Research will address who is undertaking activities and where, as well as what barriers women may encounter and what mechanisms are used to achieve success. WIGB hope the findings of the project will highlight the successes and challenges of Australia’s international businesswomen to the network, policy-makers and to an academic and business audience. Women in Global Business has been supporting and building a network for Australia’s female international businesswomen since December 2010. WIGB invites you to participate in this research project by completing an online questionnaire which is expected to take around 20 minutes. One lucky survey participant will win a fancy laptop bag donated by Zafino bags (valued at approximately $200). To go into the draw ensure you provide your contacts upon completion of the survey, however in this instance your contact details will not be linked to the data collected. Complete the survey here.
