Kuranda Manufacturing, which sells the water removal product Super Soppers, has stitched up an order with the Board of Control for Cricket in India, which has bought seven machines ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. In the past three years, India has bought 42 machines, which are worth $1.2 million each. Kuranda Manufacturing proprietor Len Withnall said the Super Soppers were proudly Australian and assembled on the family property near Taree in northern New South Wales. "The Super Sopper is a great example of Australian ingenuity and I congratulate the company on its success in cracking the Indian market," said Minister for Trade Simon Crean. "India is Australia’s fastest growing major two-way trading partner and this small family business is setting a great example for other Australian companies in the race to share in the Indian success story."
