Simon Crean should invite over the Presidents of the various republics of Latin America. as well as opening up embassies in these nations. It is incredible that we, Australia, have an ambassador to the tiny nation of the Vatican, yet fail to have an embassy in Brazil, Venezuela,Argentina or Peru. He should also encourage Australia to have an independent foreign policy, especially when it comes to Latin America, to that of the USA.
Does he realize that Latin America has over twice the population of our master, the USA?
