Meat meet in Argentina
Sustainable meat production tops the program at the 18th World Meat Congress in Buenos Aires, Argentina, 26-29 September. The topic for the congress of meat industry producers and professionals is ‘meat for a sustainable world’.
The delegates will discuss the mechanics of meat production in relation to environmental care, under pressure of growing global demand for meat products.
Held at La Rural Predio Ferial de Palermo, the biennial congress is organised by the International Meat Secretariat in conjunction with the Argentine Beef Promotion Institute and attended by sheep, beef and pig producers and representatives of industries reliant on primary meat produce.
