Marine exports back in the spotlight
The Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX) is preparing for this year’s 2010 Australian Marine Industry Export Awards. With just 10 days to go until applications close, AIMEX is projecting a bigger field of competition than ever before.
This year, the industry group has opened up more application categories, allowing small, medium and largescale businesses to submit applications for the Best Marine Industry Export Performance award, broadening out the playing field and giving more businesses than ever the chance to be considered.
Those that receive awards will benefit from cash prizes, increased exposure and publicity, and another piece for the trophy cabinet. For small and medium businesses, the process of application provides an opportunity to spell out and assess the effectiveness of business strategies.
Five experienced industry professionals will judge the competition, with the winners announced in late July.
