Marine export education receives government grant
The Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research has granted the Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX) funding to host a series of innovation focused seminars throughout Australia.
Via the department’s Enterprise Connect program, AIMEX will host six seminars on ‘Driving innovation through the adoption of new technologies’ in the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Tasmania, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth between July and October 2010.
“The focus of this seminar is to help organisations in the marine sector remain competitive given the difficult operating environment marine businesses are combating day to day,” said AIMEX chief executive MaryAnne Edwards.
Business experts from Madison Cross Corporate Advisory will provide an insight into the opportunities created through new technologies.
Seminar dates:
July 20: Gold Coast, QLD
August 25: Brisbane, QLD
August 27: Hobart, TAS
September 9: Melbourne, VIC
September 17: Sydney, NSW
