Gold Coast to gain Middle East trade insight
Trade opportunities in the Middle East will be the focus of an information session run by the Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI) and the Queensland government in the Gold Coast later this month.
The Gold Coast has been earmarked as a commercial growth area for trade links between Australia and the Middle East.
“The economies of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Iran, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Yemen are growing rapidly and providing many exciting trade opportunities for Australian businesses and investors,” said AACCI Queensland Chapter executive officer Don Williamson.
Growing populations in the Middle East has led to demand for international expertise and support to facilitate employment objectives as well as initiatives involving upgrading and developing infrastructure. Opportunities also abound in the education sector, property development and other non-oil dependent economic activity.
