British Airways targets small business travellers

British Airways has launched a corporate loyalty program aimed at small to medium sized businesses. The On Business loyalty program rewards SMEs for their registered employees’ business travel, and runs alongside its frequent flyer program, Executive Club.

The British Airways On Business program allows business travellers to earn points for all eligible British Airways flights, which can then be turned into reward flights and upgrades.

“Corporate travel continues to be a focus for British Airways. The On Business initiative is part of our commitment to stimulate local business and forge long-term relationships with our important business customers,” said Nicole Backo, regional commercial manager for British Airways.

Australian companies that register can manage their own accounts, view their points balance and past transactions, redeem points for reward flights, upgrades, hotel stays and see their estimated cost savings on a monthly basis.

The program also incorporates frequent flyer programs of oneworld alliance partners such as Qantas.

Australian businesses that join On Business before November 18, 2010 will receive a bonus 2,000 On Business points upon enrolment. British Airways also offers double points on the first 10 flights a company takes by this date. Join online at ba.com/onbusiness
