Have your say: Global business barriers

As part of a project coordinated by its Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs and Local Development, the OECD is conducting a survey, in order to better understand the barriers to internationalisation.

Small businesses with the potential to internationalise but who are yet to do so are the focus of this OECD survey.

With feedback from SMEs, the study aims to investigate why companies struggle to initiate, develop, or sustain business in high-growth markets. Its intended outcome is to assist governments in reducing these barriers, in order to to allow SMEs greater participation in global markets.

The survey, SME Perceptions of Barriers to Access in High-Growth markets, is available online and open to SMEs until March 7, 2012.
